I Vetri Tremano (Trembling Crystals)
The author establishes a communication with his cancer-sick mother through text messages from Cuba. During his stay in the island the author works on an research for a possible documentary, he is impacted by a series of places, displacements and intimate situations that remind him of the path of his own self.

Bio -
Alessandro Focareta (Italy, 1977) philologist, photographer, and documentarist. He specialized in Communications and Press. He has taken Doctorate courses on Cinema Theory at the UPF, Barcelona and Master- degree in Film Essay at the EICTV, San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba). His documentaries have been exhibited at several venues including Venice Architecture Biennale 2014, Locarno film
festival, FIDMarseille, DOC Buenos Aires, Helsinki Cinemaissí and others. His works aims at integrating alternative ways of expression with modern imaginary enhancing the interactions amidst human beings, space, and memories.
